Immediate Vacancy : Enrolled Nurse for Nursing Home
We are one of the private leading nursing home in Singapore and the first to be accredited by Ministry of Health (MOH). As we embarked on the next stage of expansion, we invite motivated and suitably qualified individuals to join us as:
Job Descriptions:
* Assist the Registered Nurse in managing the nursing care and operations of the assigned level/ ward as well as participate in quality assurance programmes
* Provide general observation support to nursing staff and inform them about any patients’ anomalies such as overall outlook, skin condition and discrepancies in behaviour
* Provide necessary input and insight to doctors regarding the care plan
* Manage enquiries and complaints from patient’s relatives, escalating more complicated cases to more senior staff
* Responsible for communications between family members, pharmacies, dieticians, management, transportation etc.
* Ensure adherence to safe work practices and the policy, philosophy and procedures set out within the nursing home facility
* Allocate Nursing Aides and Healthcare Assistants to their respective patients
* Ensure the smooth transition of junior staff between shifts
* Oversee and supervise junior staff and to take stock of their capabilities, in order to efficiently leverage on their knowledge, skills and abilities
* Any other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager and Staff Nurses
Requirements:
• Minimum NITEC / Diploma in nursing from SNB recognised institutions
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant clinical or nursing home experience
• Supervisory experience is an advantage
• Valid BCLS Certification
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Customer service oriented, friendly disposition with strong passion to serve
• Good conversational English and Mother Tongue with ability to speak other dialects will be advantageous
• Good documentation and basic computer skills
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and night if necessary
• Able to work independently and is a team player
• Genuine interest in patient care
